I've been recruiting from the time I decided to get the neighborhood kids together to put on a play. Imagine gathering a group of 10 year olds and assigning roles to them!
My career began in Operations Management and Executive Support. With a genuine love of taking care of others, and an ability to "read minds", I thrived in places where I could manage micro details that make you happy as well as take responsibility for more macro projects that are important but take time away from you. You can always count on me once you pass the baton.
My experience in the support role has given me a unique perspective on recruiting. Able to grasp the unspoken needs of others, I moved from support into recruiting support roles at boutique agencies in San Francisco. I began entry level, but by the end of my first year I was a top producer. After 5 years of Agency recruiting, I moved on to support some of the top Family Offices in Silicon Valley, consulting on roles for Chief of Staff, Estate Management, and Executive Personal Assistant.
I've always been interested in why certain people connect while others don't. In my experience it comes down to communication. Understanding the unspoken motivations of the people I engage with as well as what's "not on paper" on a job description allows me to assess and determine where to make these connections. I am still passionate about supporting your needs.
Through more than 2 decades supporting Tech (start-up and enterprise level), Finance and Family Offices, I have seen first hand what happens when the wrong connections are made. Sometimes resumes are sourced and the wrong candidates are presented. Other times the right candidate is not treated with respect and pulls out of the process.
